He's a powerful, spirit- being with a will, though not omnipotent, who uses lies, schemes, and subtlety to oppose God, seeking to corrupt and ruin humanity.
Key Characteristics
• Adversary & Opposer: His name means "adversary," and he actively opposes God and His people.
• Deceiver & Liar: He is the "father of lies," presenting false images of reality and hiding his true motives.
• Tempter: He tempts people to sin, tailoring temptations to individual weaknesses.
• Accuser: He brings charges against the righteous.
• Proud & Malicious: He is characterized by pride and envy, desiring to elevate himself and bring others to ruin.
• Powerful but Limited: He possesses great power, but is not omnipotent, omniscient, or omnipresent, and will ultimately face punishment.
• Fierce & Cruel: Described as a "roaring lion" seeking whom he may devour, he embodies evil and destruction.
• Cunning & Subtle: He uses craftiness and deceitful schemes to corrupt minds.
• Destroyer: His goal is to kill, steal, and destroy, bringing people into rebellion against goodness.
All of the above seems so familiar.

Trump is the latter-day Anti-Christ. He lied his way into power promising a booming economy, bringing back manufacturing, low inflation, lots of jobs, no more regime change or foreign adventurism. We all see how that's worked out.
His war in Iran causing the price of oil to rise has resulted in massive windfall profits for Big Oil who have Grifter Trump in their pocket. We do live in interesting times (ancient Chinese curse).
All you say is valid, and perhaps the worst that Trump and Musk have done is to virtually eliminate USAID and thereby cut off finances for medicines for those millions suffering from malaria or HIVAids. Without those medicines they die.

Sorry, not enough coffee. Just that if she’s the “Princess of Darkness” what does that make him? One doesn’t need to be religious to observe that this points to how he sees himself, or to point out to an evangelical who thinks that 47 is doing the work of Jesus.

While I was reading the WSJ article I kept thinking that if Professor Krugman wrote about this bribery, he could use the Tom Jones song “Daughter of Darkness” for the musical coda.
This the classic of all time! And as I read the lyrics I’m amazed at the depth and clarity…Donny-John is just a minion in the battle for good and evil…see evil appears smart and handsome. Donny has newer really been adept at much of anything..his handlers, starting with his father, were the key…sort of like GW’s baseball team.
So yes to the servant of evil, no to the anti-Christ…this is that special place for conservatives and puritanical puppets. Anti-science, anti-female, anti-thinking, burning at the stake…really. Of course add to the Roman’s deciding that women were not worth much…stealing the teachings, hiding the wife and kids, and the mother after all! All to appease the pagan soldiers…then stole the real Jesus of Nazareth from us.
Mortgage, credit card and consumer loan rates are tied to the 10-year T-bond that fluctuates daily. Regardless what the Fed does, the bond market is showing its displeasure and not exactly a vote of confidence for Warsh.
Jeannine Pirro should be charged with something over this. She berated that biker and defamed him when she well knew he was not guilty. She has not changed over the years.
My understanding is that Hearn's attorneys were asking for a grand jury transcript after the witness contradicted an essential element of the charges (the $ amount of damage to make it a felony). Pirro probably had to bury this by claiming "new evidence" from the interior department before her grand jury misconduct came to light.
At least you didn’t do an Emily Litella like Pirro did. She was so sure that this man committed an egregious crime and they had experts to prove it. The venom in her voice when describing the damage was bizarre. Then all of a sudden, Never mind.
Pirro was in charge of the prosecution, but she was hardly alone in her mania. Video clips that I've seen of Doug Burgum, Secretary of the Interior, and of Trump, show them to be just as determined to blow up this incident into a major crime.
In her motion to dismiss, Pirro points the finger at the Department of the Interior. “Had DOI been forthcoming with the information clearly in its possession, the government would not have sought a grand jury indictment.” The reality is that Jean Pirro and Doug Burgum were both supporting Trump’s lies. They just wanted enough plausible deniability to avoid criminal liability. So Pirro ignored press reports until she got essentially the same information from the DOI. And the DOI, under Doug Burgum, was slow to provide the information to Pirro for the same reason. This was a bogus prosecution that was never going to result in a conviction; the goal was just to keep Trump happy for a few days until the case fell apart.
What really bothers me about Pirro pointing the finger at the DOI is that it’s a license for MAGA folks to blame low level bureaucrats at the DOI for the bogus prosecution. As I see it, the ultimate blame falls on Trump, with Burgum and Pirro responsible for playing along.

Decades ago, a friend of mine in Pennsylvania scooped up every road kill he came across. It was kept in his basement freezer and fed to young golden eagles that had not learned to hunt yet. The eagles needed the entire carcass for digestive reasons. The effort was part of eagle reintroduction studies in the state.
